It’s been one on my list for ages and it was just the perfect day to bring Mum out for brunch for Mother’s Day.
Absolutely LOVE the decor and ambience. I can only imagine how sexy the mood at night is with all that rustic lighting punctuating every inch above the tables. LOVE the open kitchen and all their produce spilling everywhere around you and stacks of Eden Valley Farm flour. Uber cool and i’m totally digging it. It truly reflects the food – honest, farm-to-table, wholesome, local food produce.
The food is amazing! I would definitely go back again. I thought the price was fair and couldn’t quite understand why everyone was going on how about expensive it is. I’ve paid equal amount for shitty pretentious food elsewhere. So by Perth standards, thought this was reasonable for sure.
The only negative about this place, is the service. It’s almost perfect so its a real pity they haven’t got it right.
We arrived just as it opened and they were already busy but we were served by 3-4 different waitstaff who were in a constant mad rush so they couldn’t spare any time for politeness or to even get our order right. They screwed a coffee order and i had to ask 4 times for my juice.
I’ve since learnt within a day that its apparently a common experience there.
Still, they’ve got majority of my checklist ticked so I will definitely come back again. I just hope they sort they service out before then.
